Our experience with Ms. Husband is the exact same as stated. This person has no credentials and has used separation counseling on our son and daughter in law as well as ourselves. We have been prevented from seeing our grandchildren for 4 years and received threats from our son.

FIRST; I HESITATE TO POST THIS MESSAGE DUE TO THIS COUNSELORS HISTORY OF RETRIBUTION ON HER CLIENTS AND THEIR FAMILY.
Ms. Lynn Husband's method of counseling is extremely dangerous. This includes total separation from parents, with no reconciliation or support for the parents. This type of counseling has caused untold mental and physical harm to include death, of the parents. She is known to take retribution on her client if the parents complaining about her methods.
The parents have no idea in many cases what the issues are as they are never permitted to meet with their adult children.
To our knowledge Ms. Husband has no other credentials other than NCC. See below;

There are currently no authorities in the State of Tennessee to regulate or censure a counselor. Anyone, regardless of background, that gets a degree and certificate can promote themselves as a counselor. The only recourse is for a client to bring suit against their counselor or in extreme cases a parent may bring suite due to personal injury.
NOTE; (see disclaimer above) Unfortunately, there are many cases where parents have been admitted to hospitals or committed suicide due to being cutoff or accused by their adult children of issues that never happened or were blown out of proportion to the situation by their counselor. Over 1,800 cases were filed in the 80s and 90s and a lot of the adverse practices were stopped, however this type practice continues to be performed by some few people in the industry.
